What are Soy Wax Melts & Candles?
Our soy wax melts and candles are hand-poured using soy wax and carefully selected fragrances. Soy wax provides a clean, slow burn and allows you to enjoy your favorite Piney Creek scents throughout your home.
Why do you use soy wax instead of traditional paraffin wax?
Soy wax is made from a renewable, plant-based resource and is biodegradable. We choose soy wax because it provides a clean, slow-burning candle and works beautifully with our fragrances.
How long do your candles and wax melts last?
Burn time varies depending on the candle size, wick care, and how the candle is burned. Our candles can provide approximately 40–60 hours of burn time, depending on size. Wax melt fragrance time varies depending on the fragrance, warmer, and amount of wax used.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Our soy wax is plant-based. We do not test our finished candles or wax melts on animals.
How do I use wax melts?
Place one or two wax melt cubes in a wax warmer designed for scented wax. Follow the directions provided with your warmer. As the wax melts, it releases fragrance into your home. Never add water to wax melts, and never leave a warmer unattended.
How do I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each lighting. Allow the wax to melt toward the edges of the container, especially during the first burn, to help prevent tunneling. Keep burning candles away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Are your fragrances natural?
We use carefully selected fragrance oils to create the variety of scents offered by Piney Creek Candle Company. Our fragrances are chosen with quality, safety, and a great scent experience in mind.
Where are your products made?
Our candles and wax melts are hand-poured in small batches in Grayson Co., Virginia, near Galax, Virginia. Piney Creek Candle Company takes its name from Piney Creek, which crosses our family farm. Our country roots are at the heart of what we make.
